Community Engagement and Finding Purpose through Weaver' ENCORE

Weaver believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to connect with others, explore new experiences and find joy in life. That's the spirit behind our ENCORE program, a unique initiative designed to take our clients out into the community, where they can engage in a wide range of activities, make new friends and build lasting relationships.

ENCORE is all about exploration. Whether it's attending a movie, visiting the Cleveland Art Museum or even making candles, our clients are given the chance to experience the world in ways they may never have imagined. One of our recent outings was to Cedar Point, where two of our clients fearlessly tackled all the roller coasters. It was a day filled with excitement, laughter and a sense of accomplishment that will stay with them forever.

More than fun

While ENCORE is undoubtedly about having fun, it's so much more than that. It's about giving people with developmental disabilities the chance to engage in the community and create meaningful relationships. It provides them with something to look forward to, something that brings happiness and a sense of purpose. At Weaver, we're not just guides; we're friends. We're there to share in the joy, to support and encourage, and to help our clients find fulfillment in every experience.

Building a community

ENCORE is more than just a program; it's a community. It's a place where our clients can feel safe, supported and understood. It's where they can grow, learn and thrive, surrounded by people who care. We’re committed to continuing the growth of this program, expanding our reach and providing even more opportunities for our clients to enjoy life to the fullest.

Weaver is here to guide, to share and to have fun, but most importantly, we're here to build a community. Through ENCORE, we're helping our clients find purpose and joy in life, one amazing experience at a time.
