Charles has been a dedicated part of our ProPak team at Osceola for the past year and a half. Each day, he comes ready to work hard, listen to his supervisor and support his teammates. In that time, he’s not only become a reliable worker but has also built strong relationships with those around him.
This consistency and determination have helped Charles grow in remarkable ways. He has made steady progress toward his personal goals, showing greater independence, confidence and readiness to take on new challenges.
At the end of August, Charles had a chance to do just that. He stepped into a group employment role at our Stellar site, filling in for a team member on vacation. This was an opportunity to apply his skills in a new setting, continue learning and build toward his long-term success.
Opportunities such as this one are at the heart of Weaver’s mission. By creating pathways for individuals to try new roles, develop skills and work alongside supportive peers and supervisors, we help people like Charles move closer to independence and personal fulfillment.
We are proud of how far Charles has come and look forward to seeing what his next step brings. His story is a reminder of the growth that’s possible when dedication meets opportunity and a celebration of what makes the Weaver community so special.

Many capable people are left out of the workforce not due to lack of ability, but lack of access. Employers can change that by rethinking rigid job requirements, making roles more flexible and creating inclusive environments where everyone works side by side. With small shifts and support from community partners, businesses can tap into overlooked talent and build stronger, more equitable teams.
Encore is a summer program by Weaver that empowers adults with disabilities through fun, meaningful experiences that foster independence, confidence, and community connection. With strong partnerships in the local community, participants are supported in building friendships, trying new things, and feeling truly included.
